Back in 1999, the Bank has started its retail activity with only 7 branches.
With the launch of the retail division, the Bank has offered basic banking services such as deposits, facilities and cards. After gaining practical experience within the market and with the increase of the clients banking needs, the Bank implemented a full range of depository and lending products. Additionally, the bank was the first to offer Electronic banking services in Egypt.
To continue its growth, in 2006 the Bank introduced a new personalized relationship approach by offering segmentation packages based on clients’ profile & financial needs such as YO!, Safwa and Professionals. Also, the Bank introduced the Point Of Sale to its Professional packages to match the needs of the self-employed customers. The segmentation approach aims at fulfilling different clients’ needs & enhancing the personalized relationship between the Bank & its clients to apply the concept of the Universal Bank.
Ever since, the bank has expanded its network to reach more than 200 branches and continuing its growth strategy with the aim of maintaining the leadership position within the Egyptian market. Throughout the years and as the clientele base was getting bigger, the Bank supported such growth by widening its retail products and services to match its clients' various and evolving financial needs as well as their expectations.
